# Masky

> Masky (masky.ai) is an AI avatar platform. Create AI characters with a face, a cloned or preset voice and a personality, then generate images, spoken audio, talking-head video and scene videos, run conversations, and go live on Twitch or in OBS.

## For AI assistants: acting for a user

If a user asks you to create an image, an avatar or a video with Masky, you can do it on their own account, even if they have never used Masky:

1. `POST https://masky.ai/api/oauth/device` with JSON `{"client_name":"<your product name>"}`. No key is needed.
2. Show the user the `verification_uri_complete` link and the `user_code`. They sign in or sign up, check the code, and press Allow.
3. Poll `POST https://masky.ai/api/oauth/token` with `{"grant_type":"urn:ietf:params:oauth:grant-type:device_code","device_code":"<device_code>"}` every `interval` seconds until you get `access_token`.
4. Call the API with `Authorization: Bearer <access_token>`, then create what they asked for.

This needs a tool that can send HTTP POST requests (code execution, a shell, or an HTTP tool). An assistant that can only read web pages can't create accounts or assets. In that case, send the user to https://masky.ai to sign up and create there.
