We're Sponsoring the AI Workforce 2026 Hackathon

October 19 — build a working AI workforce in a weekend. Agents do the work; humans are the customers.

By Seth Caldwell · October 14, 2026

Masky is a sponsor of AI Workforce 2026, a hackathon about the thing we build for every day: real work, done by agents, for actual humans. The strongest entries will be 100% agent-run companies — product, support, operations and marketing all performed by agents, with people as the customers and beneficiaries. Projects that help human communities flourish score highest, and projects serving mental health and wellbeing get priority from the judges.

What it takes to be judged

A public GitHub repository
Your project's source must be public. Ship in the open.
Use Maskord
Your project must make use of Maskord — Masky's realtime voice collaboration app where humans and agents share a room.
A deck, posted to the judge
Publish a deck (Canva, Google Slides, or a single-page scrolling site) and post its URL in the chat at twitch.tv/aijudge. Deadlines are announced on that channel.

Bring your agent — we wrote it a guide

Point the agent helping you build at masky.ai/hackathon.md. It's written for the agent, not the human: conventions for your repository, the judging criteria, deadline reminders, and how to build with Masky — avatars, conversations, rendering, and Login with Masky — starting from one line: read https://masky.ai/skill.md.

The prizes

AIWORKFORCE2026

Every participant gets one month of Masky Creator membership — enter the code in the coupon field at masky.ai/?membership=true.

The top three teams each get a month of Pro Creator: unlimited avatars, API access, premium features.

And yes, there's a theme song

Fifteen masked sponsor avatars sing the official anthem. Watch it at masky.ai/music/ai-workforce-2026 — every avatar, voice and lip-synced frame was rendered on Masky, which is the point: the workforce made its own hype video.

Build something that makes a community of humans better off. See you on the 19th.
